(in Polish) Psychologia kliniczna dziecka i rodziny (course group defined by Faculty of Psychology)

During the course, texts (non-fiction, reportage, anthropological popular science texts) will be discussed, presenting the experiences of children growing up in conditions other than those typical of our culture (due to the place of residence, historical events, etc.) whose experiences are related to identity formation and related challenges.

(in Polish) Celem zajęć jest uwrażliwienie na zjawisko krzywdzenia dziecka w rodzinie i zapoznanie studentów z wiedzą na temat przemocy w rodzinie, obejmującą zagadnienia rozpowszechnienia i rodzajów przemocy, bieżących i długoterminowych skutków medycznych i psychologicznych, mechanizmów przemocy w rodzinie, identyfikacji rodzin, w których ma miejsce przemoc oraz dzieci – ofiar przemocy w rodzinie, jak również rodzajów interwencji psychologicznych i ich skuteczności.

The main objective to this course it the presentation of the projective diagnostic methods used by the clinical psychologist in the work with the child and his or hers parents.The analysis of the methods will concern the source of diagnostic information about the child and the family and the forms of interpretations of the obtained data. During the course we will study the literature and analyze the clinical material. The theoretical background are the theories that take into account the meaning of the relationship in the family for the development of the child.

(in Polish) Wykład poświęcony jest prezentacji głównych teorii dotyczących zaburzeń funkcjonowania rodziny tj. podejścia psychodynamicznego, poznawczo-behawioralnego, transgeneracyjnego, podejścia Bowena oraz Stierlina, klasycznych szkół systemowych tj. strukturalnej i strategicznej oraz szkół postsystemowych. Przedstawione zostaną założenia każdej ze szkół i sposoby ujmowania zaburzenia. W drugiej części kursu omówione zostaną wybrane problemy rodzin osób z zaburzeniami psychicznymi, osób uzależnionych, rodzin z problemem przemocy, a także rodzin osób starszych.

(in Polish) Zajęcia polegają na udziale studentów w pracy diagnostycznej i terapeutycznej z dziećmi oraz rodzinami. Zajęcia przeznaczone są wyłącznie dla studentów piątego roku specjalizacji psychologii klinicznej dziecka i rodziny. Student powinien posiadać zaawansowaną wiedzę z zakresu psychopatologii rozwoju i psychologii klinicznej dziecka i rodziny.

(in Polish) Celem zajęć jest omówienie problemów klinicznych specyficznych dla okresu dorastania oraz pomocy psychologicznej udzielanej pacjentom i ich rodzinom.

Zajęcia będą poświęcone omawianiu następujących zagadnień:

1. sytuacja psychologiczna osoby w wieku dorastania;

2. specyfika powstawania i utrzymywania się zaburzeń;

3. postacie zaburzeń

4. zasady i cele interwencji psychologicznej

The lecture is an introduction in the issues of clinical child psychology, understood as a discipline both theoretical and applied. The selected theories of development of disorders of mental functioning in children will be presented. The main point of reference is the relational paradigm, that takes into account the mechanisms of development and the mechanisms of formation of disorders in terms of relationships both intrapsychic and interpersonal.

The aim of this course is to present attachment theory and its clinical implications. This theory refers to an early child-caregiver relationship and its importance for the child?s development. It is a developmental theory as well as clinical one. Participants of this course are required to read proposed literature and confront themselves with a few practical tasks ? such as observations in order to acquire a more critical perspective and ability to use the theory in a practical context.
