Brief description

The program implemented in class is elaborated in order to help students develop the most important language skills. Within this framework, there should be acquired a wide scope of skills in communication, grammar, oral speech and written language. An important aspect of learning is also shaping the phonological sensitivity of course participants and contributing to the increase of their knowledge about the culture of the Spanish language area.

The high degree of correctness required in philological studies and the need to relate acquired language skills to the academic context of their further use, implies that the first year student develops his ability to understand such texts and statements in Spanish, whose style, subject matter and level of complexity require the receiver to shape her/his linguistic sensibility.
