Brief description

The aim of the course is to teach doctoral students how to plan research and apply for grants. One of the elements of the workshop will be an exercise in preparing an Individual Research Plan by each participant. The classes include a discussion of the elements of a grant application as a specific scientific text. Doctoral students learn the principles of constructing assumptions and schedules for research projects financed from external sources, their implementation and settlement. Doctoral students learn the principles of research design in the short and long term.

Brief description

The aim of the course is to prepare doctoral students to independently plan research and apply for grants. Doctoral students will be introduced to the principles of preparing research projects funded by external sources. During the classes, general principles of applying for research project funding will be discussed, along with the key elements of a grant proposal, which is considered a special kind of scientific text.
