The aim of this course is to prepare students for planning, acquiring and processing field measurements dedicated to remote sensing analysis.

The course will cover such issues as remote sensing data acquisition emphasizing methods of field studies, data preparation (selecting, pre-processing, storing), statistical analysis, processing of the data,

Students will discuss the data processing workflow and plan their own analysis.

The course presents contemporary, global problems from different perspectives (environmental, political, cultural, socio-economic).The course is conducted by several lecturers - specialists in various topics.

The lecture gives general information about natural environment of Poland (geology, relief, climate, hydrology, soils, vegetation, land use, natural landscape types, geographical regions, protected areas - national parks).

The lecture gives general and detail information about the nature of wetlands, also in the realtion to climate change and human influences.
