The history of agriculture. Centres of origin of cultivated plants. Temporal changes in the species composition of cultivated plants. Changes in the weed flora over time and space. Plants in the cultural landscape: - The relationship between the history, function and natural conditions of the city (exemplified by Warsaw and Kazimierz Dolny). - Plant motifs found in architecture - the symbolic meanings of plants in different epochs. Stylization - one of the factors impeding the identification of plants |
