  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;

  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;

Short description:

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with indicators used in the description and evaluation of socio-economic phenomena. The second part of the course is devoted to the issues of methods of evaluation of phenomena, processes, documents and procedures.

Full description:

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with indicators used in the description and evaluation of socio-economic phenomena. Students will learn how to construct and interpret indicators. Some of these classes are devoted to indicators of the dynamics of phenomena, their prediction and setting trends. The second part of the course is devoted to the issues of methods of evaluation of phenomena, processes, documents and procedures.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

Exercises

Attendance at exercises is compulsory, one absence is allowed.

During the course, students collect data, develop and analyze indicators.

The basis for passing the classes is the preparation of written assignments, from which at least 50% of the points should be obtained. Detailed instructions for completing each work are presented in class.

Lecture

The lecture series is completed with a written assessment, which has the form of a test containing open and technically closed questions. A score of more than 50% is required to achieve a passing grade.

The credit of the whole course requires the completion of a series of exercises and a series of lectures.
