(K_W02) - principles (theoretical) of the functioning of various types of international, state, local government and social institutions and organizations operating in the area of spatial management at the local, regional and national level. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of evaluation of institutions and processes of local and regional development and space management (K_W03) - in an in-depth manner, selected methods, techniques and tools used to solve complex tasks in the field of spatial management, including data acquisition techniques and modeling of spatial structures and processes, as well as identifying the regularities governing them (K_W06) - functioning of various types of spatial structures (social, economic, natural, political) on a local, regional, national or global scale (S2_W02) - principles (theoretical) of the functioning of various types of institutions and organizations operating in the field of urban planning and revitalization in the local, regional and national dimensions, as well as knowledge of the principles of evaluation of institutions and processes of local and regional development and space management (S2_W03) - selected methods, techniques and tools used to solve complex tasks in the field of urban planning and revitalization, including data acquisition techniques and modeling of structures and processes spatial structures, as well as identifying the regularities governing them (S2_W06) Student is able to: - correctly understand, interpret, explain and analyze the causes and course of processes and phenomena (spatial, economic, social, natural, political) and the mutual relations between these phenomena in the context of development and spatial planning (K_U01) - make a critical analysis of how spatial structures function through independently formulated and verified research hypotheses (K_U03) - assess the usefulness and effectiveness of theories and methods for solving problems in the field of spatial management (K_U05) - identify, forecast and model complex tasks in the field of spatial management, including unusual, interdisciplinary tasks that integrate knowledge of related fields of science and disciplines, with using advanced methods and tools (K_U08) - correctly understand, interpret, explain and analyze the causes and course of processes and phenomena (spatial, economic, social, natural, political) and their relations between them in the context of urban planning and revitalization (S2_U01) - analyze how specific spatial structures function, through independently formulated and verified research hypotheses (S2_U03) - assess the usefulness and effectiveness of theories and methods for solving problems in the field of urban planning and revitalization (S2_U05) - identify, forecast and model complex tasks, including interdisciplinary ones, in the field of urban planning and revitalization, with the help of knowledge in the field of earth sciences, using appropriate IT tools (S2_U08) The student is ready to: - participate in the preparation of space management projects and are able to predict the multidirectional, social, environmental and other effects of their activities. Is aware of responsibility for decisions made (K_K01) - to consciously fulfill one's social role, and especially understands the need to formulate and provide the public with information and opinions on various aspects of spatial management in a generally understandable way (K_K07) - participate in the preparation of urban planning and revitalization projects, predict multi-directional social, environmental and other effects of their activities.
