  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;

Short description:

This course is designed to help students develop a creative and effective curriculum vitae (CV) and prepare for successful job interviews. The course will cover the following topics: understanding the purpose and structure of a CV, identifying key skills and achievements, tailoring the CV to the job description, creating a personal brand, writing effective cover letters, and preparing for job interviews. Through a series of interactive exercises, case studies, and group discussions, students will gain practical skills and strategies to help them stand out in today's competitive job market.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

Assessment: Assessment in this course will be based on a combination of in-class participation (20%), completion of exercises and assignments (30%), and a final project which will involve the creation of a complete job application package, including a tailored CV and cover letter (50%). Students will also receive feedback on their performance during mock interviews. The use of ChatGPT in the exercises will be assessed based on the quality and relevance of the ideas generated
