The course aims to familiarize students with the issues of diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), usage of the psychological interview, observation and standardized methods in diagnosis of ASD. |
Full description: |
The course aims to familiarize students with the issues of diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). This course will focus on ethical issues related to the assessment of children, differential diagnosis, functional diagnosis, usage of the psychological interview in the diagnostic process, usage of an observation in diagnosis of ASD as well as standardized methods particularly useful in the diagnosis of developmental disorders in children below age of 6. |

(in Polish) Student: - potrafi określić, na czym polegają specyfika i aspekty etyczne pracy z dzieckiem; - zna zastosowanie swobodnych metod diagnostycznych w diagnozowaniu zaburzeń rozwojowych; - zna konstrukcję, ograniczenia i zastosowania standardowych metod diagnostycznych w diagnozowaniu zaburzeń rozwojowych; - rozumie pojęcia diagnozy różnicowej i diagnozy funkcjonalnej; - potrafi przeprowadzić diagnozę funkcjonalną dziecka; - zdaje sobie sprawę z ograniczeń uzyskanych danych i potrafi je uwzględnić w procesie interpretacji. |
