  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;

  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;

Short description:

The course is addressed to students interested in economic socialization problems. During the seminar will be discussed the economic knowledge forming process and economic behaviors of children. Presented data will include such aspects as: consecutive economic competence stages, influence of diverse factors on child economic socialization (e.g. sex, economic status, environment), and understanding of economic phenomena.

Full description:

The course is addressed to students interested in the problems of economic socialization. During the seminar, the processes of economic awareness forming and undertaking economic activities will be discussed in detail. The presented research will concern attempts to determine the stages of growing competences of children in the economic sphere, the impact on the economic awareness of various factors (including sex, economic level of the family, the environment), and understanding of concepts related to the economic functioning of society and its institutions. The course will also teach how to prepare economic education programs and classes.
