  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;

Short description:

The main goal of the course is to perform a whole questionnaire research – from design of the questionnaire, through the analysis to a report.

During the semester, students will design a questionnaire and perform questionnaire research using open, web based tools.

The second step will be analyzing data and reporting the outcome in graphical form.

Target audience must have basic knowledge of statistics.

Classes will contain to parts – part of the lecture and part of training held in SPSS.

Full description:

During the course theoretical parts will be combined with practical training.

This way participants will use theoretical knowledge in practice right away and will be able to prepare research “step by step”.

Students will work on their projects in small teams.

Theory:

1. Statistical study

2. Introduction to survey design

3. Basics of descriptive statistics

4. Hypothesis testing

5. Data visualization

Practice in SPSS:

1. Identifying problem and formulating the hypotheses.

2. Data analysis – sample description and hypotheses testing

3. Making conclusion – building the report

Oblicza podstawowe miary statystyczne

Rozpoznaje podstawowe rozkłady zmiennej losowej ciągłej

Buduje przedział ufności

Weryfikuje hipotezy statystyczne

Przeprowadza analizę regresji liniowej

Przeprowadza wymagane analizy w pakiecie statystycznym

Kompetencje społeczne:

Rozpoznaje manipulacje danymi w przestrzeni publicznej.

Współpracuje w zespole zadaniowym
