In this course the student will learn about the Polish press, radio broadcasting, cinematography, the most important journalists, topics and journalistic in Poland before 1945. |
Full description: |
In this course the student will learn about the most important issues concerning the Polish media of the interwar period. Students will gain knowledge about the Polish press of that period, the beginnings of radio broadcasting and cinematography of the twenties and the thirties of the twentieth century, the most important journalists, topics and journalistic disputes as well as occupation press systems and underground press of the Second World War period. |

Learning outcomes: |
After completing the course, students: KNOWLEDGE: The student has knowledge of the most important issues concerning Polish media in the interwar period. SKILLS: The student can characterise the most important Polish press titles of the interwar period and the most prominent journalists. The student can also indicate and describe the beginnings of radio broadcasting and cinematography in Poland of that period. |
