Alexander the Great in Western culture

Wykład poświęcony będzie recepcji osoby i dokonań Aleksandra Wielkiego od

czasów starożytnych po współczesność (literatura, sztuki plastyczne, film) w tradycji

Zachodu.

Wykład poświęcony będzie recepcji postaci Aleksandra Wielkiego od czasów

starożytnych po współczesność w kulturze Zachodu (Europa, USA). Wykład obejmie

zarówno zmieniającą się ocenę postaci i czynów Aleksandra Wielkiego obecną w

pracach historyków czy moralistów, ale także cała gamę opowieści o Aleksandrze w

literaturze różnych języków i krajów oraz w sztukach plastycznych czy filmie.

wie o najważniejszych nowych osiągnięciach w zakresie badania recepcji osoby

Aleksandra Wielkiego w tradycji zachodniej (K_W08)

umie wyszukiwać, analizować, selekcjonować, oceniać i użytkować informacje

zawarte w różnych źródłach (K_U02), w tym informacje o źródłach pisanych i

archeologicznych i ich kontekście z wykorzystaniem literatury naukowej (K_U01)

umie samodzielnie zdobywać wiedzę i rozwijać umiejętności badawcze w zakresie

recepcji postaci Aleksandra Wielkiego i jego czasów (K_U04)

jest gotów do wykorzystania posiadanej przez siebie wiedzy i umiejętności oraz jest
