Short description: |
The lectures’ aim is to present the most important features of ancient Christianity. Several questions concerning Church structure, religiosity, theology, and the pagan-Christian relations will be discussed, especially those whose generally shared image should be changed. |

Learning outcomes: |
At the end of this series of lectures its participants should understand the development of Christianity and the structure of the Church, be aware of problems which the historians have to face when studying this phenomenon, know major discussions and questions concerning early Christianity. |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
Two criteria must be met n order to get a final mark: Attendance (no more than 3 absences) + a final test (in POlish) |
