Short description:

The aim of the course is to present the life, works, and reception of Edward Morgan Forster, an emminent English writer of the early 20th century.

Full description:

The aim of the course is to present the life, works, and reception of Edward Morgan Forster, an emminent English writer of the early 20th century.

The course will be divided into three parts. The first will deal with the writer's biography, the second part will present his works, and the third one will be dedicated to their reception. Students will have access to selected literary and critical texts as well as film and stage adaptations of Forster's works via Google Classroom.

Knowledge:

- knows and understands the relationships between a given field and related fields of philology and humanities (K_W05, S_W01, S_W04);
