(in Polish) Przedmiot ma wprowadzić studenta w analizę morfologiczno-składniową języka francuskiego – w semestrze zimowym przede wszystkim w analizę elementów grupy nominalnej: rzeczownika, przymiotnika, określnika. W semestrze letnim - czasownika i innych elementów grupy werbalnej oraz zdania prostego.

Zakłada się, że uczestnik zajęć ma zaliczone WDJ oraz WZJ.

Classroom

The first semester of descriptive grammar is devoted to the nominal group. We discuss according to a similar scheme : the noun and its grammatical categories and functions in the sentence, the adjective, its grammatical categories and functions in the sentence. Then we describe the determiners taking into account the rules of transcription of generative grammar. Finally, we deal with the pronoun, its classes and functions in a sentence. In separate classes, we discuss word-formation processes concerning different parts of speech.

3. Vocabulary as one of the ways of enriching vocabulary.

4. Nominal syntagma and its place in the structure of the sentence, syntactic functions of nominal syntagma.

5. The noun and the grammatical categories that characterize it.

6. Description of nouns from the point of view of connectivity of units in a sentence: the matrix of lexical features.

7. Principles of formal analysis of nominal syntagma inspired by generative-transformational grammar.

8. determinant analysis.

9. adjective and its grammatical categories.

10. classes of adjectives.

11. Functions of adjectival syntagma in a sentence.

12. pronouns, their classes and morphological and syntactic features.

13. Analysis of nominal syntagma in the form of a derivational tree.

14. pronouns - classes, categories, compositions.

Active and systematic participation in class, two tests per semester. Only two unexcused absences per semester are allowed. Three result in an additional question on the next test. With four, no credit is given for the semester.
