ECTS credit allocation (and other scores):	3.00 Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles: the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS; the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h; 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes; weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS; work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:	The lecture will illustrate the thesis of discursive semantics on the dynamic and multidimensional aspect of the meaning of words.
Full description:	The multidimensional aspect of the meaning of words means that their meaning is not fixed and unchanging, limited only to that registered in dictionaries. It can be observed that it is constantly updated in the context as a result of the intentional use of language units by various social actors. As a result of this process, the meaning of words reflects a certain social representation, often carrying an emotional and evaluative charge. All these problems will be illustrated in specific discourses: press, political, ecological, etc. and in the statements of ordinary users, e.g. in social media.

Short description:	(in Polish) Na wykładzie zilustrowana zostanie teza semantyki dyskursywnej o dynamicznym i wielowymiarowym aspekcie znaczenia słów.
Full description:	(in Polish) Teza semantyki dyskursywnej o dynamicznym i wielowymiarowym aspekcie znaczenia słów oznacza, że ich znaczenie nie jest stałe i niezmienne, ograniczające się jedynie do tego, które jest zarejestrowane w słownikach. Można zaobserwować, że podlega ono ciągłej aktualizacji w kontekście w wyniku intencjonalnego używania jednostek języka przez różnych aktorów społecznych. W wyniku tego procesu znaczenie słów odzwierciedla pewną reprezentację społeczną często niosąc ze sobą ładunek emocjonalny i wartościujący. Wszystkie te problemy zostaną zilustrowane na konkretnych dyskursach: prasowym, politycznym, ekologicznym itp. oraz na wypowiedziach zwykłych użytkowników m.in. w mediach społecznościowych.
