Beautiful art. Architecture, sculpture, painting. 6. Catalan cinema. From "Pelea en un café" (1897) to the 21st century. 7. Music: history, rhythms and instruments. Gralla, tamborí, sac de gemecs ... From classical music to punk rock by folk. 8. Dancing in Catalan. Sardana, Ball de bastons ... 9. Catalan Mythology and Magic. Legends. 10. Habits and traditional life. 11. Learning outcomes:	Knowledge: Has an intermediate knowledge of the Catalan language; is aware of the complex nature of the Catalan language, its historical variability and diversity of varieties within countries and regions using that language; understands the need for precise, logically correct expression of thoughts and views.
