Short description: (in Polish)

Premiera w 2019 r. serialu Watchmen przypomniała jeden z najważniejszych komiksów w historii – Strażników Allana Moore’a z 1986 i 1987. Sposób, w jaki produkcja HBO podejmuje wątki społeczno-kulturowe pierwowzoru, zachęca do przypomnienia samego przełomowego komiksu i interdyscyplinarnego spojrzenia na jego szerokie konteksty – w tym zwłaszcza kontekst przemian kulturowych przełomu lat 80. i 90. i zjawisk dzisiejszej popkultury (np. zwrot kina ku komiksowi, funkcjonowanie serialu jako gatunku „zaangażowanego”).
