Prerequisites (description): | Health declaration - after knowing the ruls of the sport section of the University of Warsaw I declare, that Im healthy and I can fully take part in these exercises. In case of any difficulties, I will inform the teacher. |

Learning basic swimming skills. |
Full description: |
During classes, students will: – get acquainted with the water environment – learn basic movements on the front and on the back as well as breathing in the water – learn techniques of swimming on the back – learn arm and leg movements in the breaststroke – learn arm and leg movements in the crawl – get accustomed with feet-first jumps into deep water. |
Learning outcomes: |
Students: - will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning; - will be able to exercise safely; - will learn how to work in a team; - will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy; - will be able to use sports equipment correctly; - will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff. |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
Student: - regularly participates in classes - swims 50 m using the back technique. |
