Prerequisites (description): | Health declaration - after knowing the ruls of the sport section of the University of Warsaw I declare, that Im healthy and I can fully take part in these exercises. In case of any difficulties, I will inform the teacher. |

Full description: |
As part of the classes, participants shape and develop their skills in the area of advanced techniques and tactics used when playing table tennis. This course is designed to deepen participants' understanding of the diverse aspects of the discipline, focusing on advanced concepts and strategies. During the course, participants will have the opportunity to explore the complex spins of the ball, perfecting the skills of precise control over the direction and spin of the ball in order to gain an advantage over the opponent. Special emphasis will be placed on improving plays of varying difficulty, which will allow participants to react flexibly to various situations during the match. As part of the classes, participants will also develop their offensive skills, learning advanced attack techniques and surprising the opponent. Mastering complex attack combinations and the ability to quickly adapt to changing table situations are essential elements of this course. During the classes, participants will have the opportunity to practically apply the newly acquired skills through regular sparring and training games. They will also have a chance to analyze themselves and other players, which will allow them to identify strengths and areas for further improvement. |
Learning outcomes: |
Students: - will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning; - will be able to exercise safely; - will learn how to work in a team; - will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy; - will be able to use sports equipment correctly; - will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff. |
