A practical legal and business skills course focused on presenting and practicing language in the business context. It familiarizes students with authentic documents used in legal situations. It provides students with opportunities to practice advising, negotiating terms of contracts, referring to legal documents, explaining procedures, participating in meetings. |

A practical legal and business skills course focused on presenting and practicing language in the business context. It familiarizes students with authentic documents used in legal situations. It provides students with opportunities to practice advising, negotiating terms of contracts, referring to legal documents, explaining procedures, participating in meetings. It prepares students to communicate in the written and spoken form in the intercultural context. |

Learning outcomes: |
After completing the course a student will be able: -to distinguish between a formal and informal register -to communicate appropriately in a variety of realistic legal situations in corporate contexts -to use effectively legal expressions and vocabulary in negotiations, meetings and while advising and interacting with a client, -to explain procedures, clarify information, refer to legal documents, make recommendations -to write formal letters and emails in the intercultural context |

The final grade will be based on: 1. The result of short tests of legal vocabulary and expressions (35%) 2. The result of final test (30%) 3. Class participation and home assignments (35%) |
