El curso tiene como objetivo visibilizar y discutir los procesos de cambio social en América Latina que tuvieron lugar en el siglo XX y al inicio del XXI, usando la producción cinematografica como instrumento de expresión. Dadas las características del curso se utilizará el módulo de Clasroom del disco google para compartir las películas With this didactic proposal, students will learn about the social changes that took place in Latin America during the second half of the twentieth century. This knowledge will be acquired through the presentation of Latin American cinematographic works. |

El cambio social es un término mucho más amplio que el desarrollo social. Es entendido como la transformacin de instituciones, estructuras sociales, normas, culturas y valores en espacio político, económico, socio-cultural como demográfico. Son diferencias que se observa entre el estado del sistema en un momento dado y la situación después de un período de tiempo. El curso que proponemos tiene como objetivo visibilizar y discutir los procesos de cambio social en América Latina que tuvieron lugar en el siglo XX y al inicio del XXI, usando la producción cinematografica como instrumento de expresión. Dadas las características del curso se utilizará el módulo de Clasroom del disco google para compartir las películas. El enfatizar'a la producción surgida a raiz del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano. ---------------------------------------- Social change is a broader concept than social development, mainly understood as a change of institutions, social structures, norms, cultures and values, taking place not only on the political, economic, socio-cultural but also demographic level. Those are the differences observed between the state of the social system at one point and its state after a certain time. With this didactic proposal, students will learn about the social changes that took place in Latin America during the second half of the twentieth century. This knowledge will be acquired through the presentation of Latin American cinematographic works. On selected examples of films by Latin American artists, the problems of Latin American societies in the most critical moments of the recent history will be approximated. |

| Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
Se supone combinar varios métodos didácticos: presentación audiovisual, discusión y conversación, trabajo a través de la clase virtual. El énfasis estará en interactuar con los estudiantes y trabajar en equipo. Al mismo tiempo, se delinearán objetivos claros para cada uno de los temas discutidos y analizados, y se pondrá énfasis en el uso de herramientas multimedia. Se utilizarán métodos de enseñanza basados en la palabra (lectura, discusión) y métodos de activación, así como herramientas de Internet. Criterios de evaluación: 1. asistencia a clase (50%) 2. Realización de la tarea final (50%). ------------------------ Various didactic methods will be combined: audiovisual presentation, discussion. The emphasis will be on interaction with students and team working. At the same time, clear objectives will be outlined for each of the topics discussed and analyzed. Teaching methods based on the word (lecture, discussion) and activating methods will be used. Assessment criteria: 1. attendance (50%) 2. Final assignment (50%) |
