  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;

  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;

(in Polish) Warunki przyjęcia do grupy średniozaawansowanej:

Pozytywne ukończenie szkoleń w grupie początkującej lub osoby posiadające podstawową znajomość Wspólnego Języka lub innego systemu licytacyjnego, znajomość podstawowych manewrów rozgrywkowych: impas, gra na przebitki, przepuszczenie itp, rozegranie w życiu minimum 200 rozdań w brydża sportowego, towarzyskiego lub na komputerze przez sieć albo z programem.



Przedmiot realizowany na podstawie porozumienia zawartego z Uniwersytetem Warszawskim przedmiot pt. „Brydż Sportowy - Grupa Średniozaawansowana” będzie uznawany jako przedmiot równoważny przedmiotom ogólnouniwersyteckim.

Short description:

AZS UW bridge section is one of the best in World. Our players represent Poland in many Championships (Poland, Europe, World) and achive great results.

Students, who begin trainings are able to reach top positions in Warsaw Championships or Academics Polish Championships. Classes lead by multiple medalist assure grat atmosphere and highest learning level. We use specialist equipment (bridge tables, multimedia shows, bidding boxes, card-preparing machine, symetrical cards) which makes our classes especially interesting.

Classes are available on three of four levels are focused on recreation and bridge popularisation. It also allows to meet students from all parts of the country and to spend time pleasantly.

PEOPLE WHO HAVE REGISTERED MUST HAVE A TICKET PURCHASED, IF YOU DO NOT BUY THE CARNET, YOU HAVE TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THE COURSE DURING 2ND TURN OF REGISTRATION TO GENERAL UNIVERSITY COURSES.

INTERMEDIATE GROUP

Classes are intended for students after beginners course. Students regularly playing professional or unprofessional are also invited. Knowledge about any bidding system is required.

In this course a lot of attentions is paid to learning Polish Club bidding system and mechanisms of one side bidding. A lot of classes are spared for learning of dummy play.

Techniques from previous curse are extended and new play techniques are added like ruffing, trump finesse, safe suit play and dangerous opponent.

Learning outcomes:

Classes extend logical thinking abilities, analytical problem solution methods and group cooperation. Choosing an optimal strategy in decision situation is extremly important in every day life.

Knowledge of a bridge play in the extent allowing social play or competiting in tournaments is a way of learing all above.
