Post doc Katarzyna Podhorodecka graduated from MA and PhD studies at the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies of the University of Warsaw and BA studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. She obtained the academic title of habilitated doctor in the discipline of socio-economic geography and spatial management and published her habilitation thesis entitled "Island Tourism in the Face of the World Economic Crisis". Professionally deals with the matters of tourism development in the country. He is the author and co-author of over 50 publications, including prestigious foreign journals such as: "Islands Studies Journal" and "Current Issues in Tourism".
