The lectures will present students with up-to-date knowledge about the

social psychology of intergroup relations. Lectures will use power-point

slides and involve some elements of active methods (classroom

discussions).

The reading seminar will thematically follow the topics covered by the

lecture. All students are required to read chapters from the main reading

and participate in classroom conversation. On each class one or two

students will be asked to present a focused intervention based on a

research article from a given area* – and to lead a discussion based on it.

The teacher will facilitate discussion and check knowledge of the main

reading.
