  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;

Short description:

During the classes the chosen issues in psychology of emotions will be discussed. Theory of social cognition (Greenwald and Banaji, 1994) and studies on automatic processes of evaluation and motivation (Bargh, 1997) will serve as theoretical frame for the topics. Those topics will include: theories of primary emotions, studies on neuropsychological mechanisms of implicit affect. We will be discussing both defensive-adaptive functions of emotions andtheir dysfunctional consequences.

During the classes the chosen issues in psychology of emotions will be discussed. Theory of social cognition (Greenwald and Banaji, 1994) and studies on automatic processes of evaluation and motivation (Bargh, 1997) will serve as theoretical frame for the topics.
