Short description:	The course presents anthropological view of cultural heritage as a sphere of socially constructed meanings of the past.
Full description:	The course aims at reflection on the construction and/ or usage of the elements of cultural heritage in actions and spheres that legitimise current social order, and adherence to communities on a local or broader level. During the course students will be acquainted with examples of the school programs of regional education, local government cultural projects, and non-governmental and individual actions and views related to cultural heritage.

Learning outcomes:	Having completed the course, students: - have knowledge of what is cultural heritage, how it is constructed and used; - can prepare a project explaining and popularising the notion of cultural heritage; - understand the role of cultural heritage in local communities.
