Short description: |
The “service learning” course combines learning goals and community service in ways that involve students in appropriately designed activities aimed at solving specific challenges related to the situation of migrants at and outside of the University of Warsaw. Students learn the basic theories of migration, mobility and research methodology. As part of the course and exchange of good practices participants will take part in a study trip to one of the European universities that implements programs of social and professional integration for migrants. They will also have the opportunity to meet people who work on a daily basis with migrants (from Poland and abroad). In this way, they will be better prepared to work in a multicultural environment, but they will also be able to design solutions that support integration in the workplace. |
