(in Polish) Zajęcia przygotowywane przez prezydium kierownika studiów oraz zastępców, po szerokiej konsultacji z Radą Dydaktyczną, w których co tydzień odbywa się wykład innej, zaproszonej osoby + dyskusja z aktywnym udziałem studentów, coś podobnego do seminariów czwartkowych EUROREGu; to mogą być osoby z naszych jednostek, które będą przedstawiać swoje bardziej specjalistyczne badania, z innych jednostek z UW oraz nawet zaproszone spoza UW. Kryterium wyboru to jakość badań (np. efekty publikacyjne) oraz różnorodność tematyczna/metodologiczna/dyscyplinarna, żeby uzyskać zbalansowany a jednocześnie różnorodny i ciekawy program. |

Brief description
Part A: Neighbourhoods: diversity, challenges, practice The course aims at presenting students with problems of neighbourhoods and social communities. The following issues are to be introduced: sustainable intergenerational relations, people-friendly and age-friendly cities and communities, diverse ethnicities, creating networks of neighbourhood cooperation/support, planning and implementing neighbourhood actions. Part B: Urban communities – anthropological perspective The aim of the course is to present anthropological perspective in urban studies – its main principles, methodology and implementations – in order to discuss topics connected with neighbourhoods and local communities in urban context. The course is based on discussion on chosen theoretical writings, critical analysis of selected social phenomena in urban space, as well as meetings with guests – practitioners in discussed fields. |
