NOTICE! Applications for scholarships and allowance aid for students in the academic year 2024/2025

Applications shall be submitted in the form of an electronic document via USOSweb - the application submitted in this form shall be authenticated in a manner that ensures the ability to confirm the origin and integrity of the data in electronic form.

Deadline for submission of applications for the Rector's scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Submission of applications for the Rector's scholarship by students in the form of an electronic document via USOSweb is possible from 16th September 2024 16 to 15th October 2024. In particularly justified cases - e.g., in the situation of technical errors preventing submission of an application in the form of an electronic document in USOSweb - the application, together with documented achievements, may be submitted in paper form. If a paper application is necessary, the documents must be submitted to the Student Welfare and Support Office to 15th October 2024.

Deadline for submission of social scholarship applications for the winter semester of the academic year 2024/2025
In the winter semester of the academic year 2024/2025, applications for social scholarship can be submitted from 2nd September 2024. The application for social scholarship must be submitted by the end of a given month in order to retain the right to the scholarship for a given month (e.g., to retain the right to the scholarship for October, the application must be submitted by 31st October).

Deadline for submitting scholarship applications for people with disabilities in the 2024/2025 academic year.
Application for a scholarship for persons with disabilities is possible from 15th September 2024. The application for a scholarship for persons with disabilities must be submitted by the end of a given month in order to retain the right to a scholarship for a given month (e.g., to retain the right to a scholarship for October, the application must be submitted by 31st October). Deadline for the submission of applications for the 2024/2025 academic year for the allowance aid. You can apply for the relief aid throughout the academic year.

2024.06.14 NOTICE! Application for Dormitory Placement for the 2024/2025 Academic Year

OFrom June 17 to July 8, students can submit applications for dormitory placement. The rules for submitting applications and assigning places have changed. Before starting to fill out the application, we encourage you to read the announcement on the Student Welfare and Support Office’s website , where you will find the most important information about the application process.

Current students can apply for dormitory placement in the period from June 17 to July 8. Those who do not submit their applications within this timeframe will be able to sign up on the waiting list in September (they will not be able to apply during the first-year student round).

Students starting their studies at UW in the 2024/2025 academic year can submit their dormitory placement applications from August 5 to August 22. Those who do not submit their applications within this timeframe will be able to sign up on the waiting list in September.

Submitting an application after the specified deadlines will be impossible!

Applications for the scholarships in academic year 2023/2024 in the form of an electronic document by USOSweb – the application submitted in this form is authenticated in a way that ensures the possibility of confirming the origin and integrity of the data in electronic form.

In particularly justified cases – e.g. in the event of technical errors preventing the submission of an application in the form of an electronic document in the USOSweb – the application with documented achievements may be submitted in paper form. If it is necessary to submit the application in paper form, the documents should be submitted to the Student Welfare and Support Office. If you need to submit a paper application, the documents must be submitted to the to March 14, 2024. Students may apply for the allowance for the entire academic year.

NOTICE! (06.06.2023) Applying for a place in a dormitory.

From 1 June, students and doctoral students of the University of Warsaw can apply for a place in a dormitory for the 2023/2024 academic year. The procedure for applying for a place in a dormitory started on 1 June and takes place electronically. The application and a statement of income, together with all documents is submitted under: Common Section - Applications.

Application schedule

ROUND I: for current UW students and doctoral students lasts from 1 June to 25 July. The first round is addressed to those who are currently studying at the University of Warsaw. Those who are completing their bachelor's degree this year and plan to continue their education at the University of Warsaw should submit a complete application before their final exam.

ROUND II: until 31 August for those accepted to the UW in the academic year 2023/24 for the first year of all types of studies and for the first year of education at the doctoral school. Persons admitted to the first year of study/education at the doctoral school may submit applications directly after receiving access to USOSweb.

ROUND III: by 15 September for UW students and doctoral students of all years who have not submitted an application in earlier rounds or did not receive a place in previous rounds and are applying for reconsideration of their application.

Dear Sir/Madam

we inform that at the turn of September and October personal data processing clause will be visible after logging into the USOSweb system.
The clause cannot be rejected. Lack of acceptance of the clause blocks access to the USOSweb system.

IMPORTANT CHANGE IN USOS!!! (13.09.2018)

From September 19th, 2018 ALL individual student bank account numbers, that are used to pay liabilities to UW, will change and the current account numbers will be made invalid.
New bank account numbers will be visible in the USOS system from September 19th, 2018 after 6 pm (18:00).
From 19th of September, 2018 transfers of payment (tuition) to current (old) bank account numbers will be returned to the sender. Please make appropriate changes in case of transfer of payment from your bank account.
Foreign students, who have agreements signed to make payments in EUR, after 19th of September will be make payments to individual bank accounts in that currency. Bank account numbers in EUR will also be available in USOS after September 19th, 2018.
USOS system as well as other connected services (APD, registration) will not be available on September 19th, 2018 between 12 (noon) and 6 pm (18:00).

Passwords may be changed only at the Dean's Office. Such changes are effective immediately for all services.
