Short description:	The course is to present the evolution of Brazil's foreign policy throughout history, with particular emphasis on modern times and its international (regional and global) aspirations.

Learning outcomes:	Knowledge: - a student has basic knowledge of the political history of Brazil; -a student has mastered information on the main directions and determinants of the Brazilian foreign policy; Skills: - a student is able to identify the most significant factors shaping the international position of Brazil, both in historical and contemporary perspective; - a student is able to independently assess the state of bilateral relations and multilateral activity of Brazil; - a student can analyze information on Brazilian foreign policy and correctly position it in the wider context of regional and global relations Social competence: - a student is prepared to perform professional tasks requiring knowledge of Brazil's foreign policy; - a student is able to work in a group but also independently use the acquired skills in the assessment of foreign policies of Latin American countries
