Short description:	O objetivo desta disciplina é levar os alunos a contactar problemas sociais, culturais, económicos, políticos entre outros que afetam a atualidade em Portugal.
Full description:	O objetivo desta disciplina é levar os alunos a contactar problemas sociais, culturais, económicos, políticos entre outros que afetam a atualidade em Portugal. Durante as aulas serão apresentados, analisados e debatidos diferentes temas e controvérsias da atualidade portuguesa, com recurso à imprensa e outras fontes audio-visuais nas quais se abordam as temáticas mais atuais da realidade contemporânea da sociedade portuguesa.

Learning outcomes:	The student knows and understands: K_W04 scientific and cultural phenomena in Poland and Portuguese-speaking countries, and in particular has in-depth knowledge about the connections of new research and trends in the field of study studied with other humanistic discourses K_W05 terminology, theory and methodology in the fields of science and scientific disciplines appropriate for iberian studies The student can: K_U01 use acquired research skills, including a critical analysis of cultural products and social phenomena in the countries of the Portuguese language area, the synthesis of various ideas and views, the selection of methods and the construction of research tools, development and presentation of results, allowing original solutions to complex problems in the fields of science and disciplines scientific, relevant to iberistic studies K_U02 independently acquire knowledge in the field of study and broaden research skills and take autonomous actions to develop skills and manage their own career K_U03 use acquired language skills in understanding and creating oral and written texts using professional terminology K_U06 is able to communicate using various channels, communication techniques with specialists in Polish and Portuguese in the fields of science and scientific disciplines appropriate for iberistic studies The student is ready to: K_K01 cooperation in a group, taking on various roles in it
