El curso está dedicado al análisis de las letras de los géneros seleccionados de la música tradicional de América Latina y el Caribe

"Tradiciones letrísticas de los géneros elegidos de la música latinoamericana. Análisis e interpretación"

Durante el curso los estudiantes conocen los géneros seleccionados de la música latinoamericana y caribeña, como también las teorías elegidas de análisis del texto (aplicadas a las letras).Asimismo, proponen su propio análisis de letras de las canciones.

Se espera la participación en el debate, una preparación sistemática a las clases, la elaboración de las transcripciones de letras e interpretación de significado.

Ejes del análisis:

- Rasgos de la poesía oral y del folclore/canto tradicional

- Relaciones con las corrientes literarias: romanticismo (amor romántico, desamor, soledad, pérdida, muerte), criollismo, modernismo

- Estereotipos de género y roles sociales

- Estereotipos de raza y posición social

- Forma o estructura de las coplas, figuras literarias, lenguaje (dialecto, jerga

Géneros musicales comentados:

1. La décima y el canto improvisado en la música tradicional criolla del ámbito rural (payadores, repentistas, controversias). Sus vínculos con la música del trovo y la poesía del Siglo de Oro español.

2. Las letras de tango – canción.

3. „El mundo al. revés” de la música carnavalesca de la murga uruguaya.

4. Los corridos mexicanos

5. El humor y la crítica social de la guaracha

6. Las cuestiones sociales, de raza y género en la música tropical del Caribe, con el ejemplo de merengue.

7. Tożsamość etniczna i społeczna w muzyce calypso.

8. Możliwe jest wybranie przez grupę innego gatunku muzycznego, którego teksty zostaną poddane wspólnej analizie.

Upon the completion of the course the student knows:

- basic methods of text analysis representing various registers and functional styles of the Spanish language and knows the basic terminology in the description of the language and understands its sources and applications;

-basic terminology of the field of research covering selected areas of scientific disciplines specific to Iberian studies;

-the most important events in the history of Latin America and important aspects of Spanish culture and language;

-the mechanisms of Spanish language evolution and its features in particular periods at a basic level;

-basic concepts and principles in the field of intellectual property and copyright protection;

-basic aspects of cultural studies of Spanish-speaking countries

SKILLS:

the student is able to

- read and understand Spanish texts;

-present their views, opinions, discuss, present prepared issues in Spanish;

-identify different types of Spanish-language texts, place them in a general historical and cultural context, and analyze them using basic terminology and appropriate methods;

-independently acquire knowledge and develop skills using appropriate sources from selected areas of science and scientific disciplines relevant to hispanic studies (dictionaries, lexicons, encyclopedias, source texts, monographic studies, etc.);

- write an essay in Spanish (term paper) using appropriate methods and sources in scientific disciplines specific to Hispanic studies;

- prepare oral presentations in Spanish using appropriate methods and sources in scientific disciplines specific to Hispanic studies;

-use basic terminology in the field of linguistics and other fields specific to Hispanic studies;

- use Spanish at the C1 level, i.e. have active and passive language competence in the field of Spanish, can easily understand all types of written and spoken language texts, use idiomatic expressions and colloquialisms, and have knowledge of the principles of pragmatics of communication language,

the student is capable of

- critical assessment of their knowledge and skills, independent and autonomous work, and understands the need for improvement and lifelong learning;

la presencia (se admiten 2 ausencias) y la participación activa 20%,

La preparación para las clases: transcripción y análisis de las letras 40%

La redacción de un trabajo final 40%
