ECTS credit allocation (and other scores):	3.00 Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles: the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS; the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h; 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes; weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS; work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Full description:	(in Polish) Konwersatorium ma na celu zapoznanie studentów z uszczegółowioną wiedzą na temat kultury audiowizualnej Azji Południowej, z uwzględnieniem wiedzy o tradycyjnych formach sztuki (teatr, taniec, muzyka), które mają wpływ na współczesną kulturę audiowizualna. Przedstawione zostaną podstawowe reguły rządzące sztuką teatralną/sceniczną, jak również najważniejsze formy indyjskiego teatru (plus muzyczno-taneczne prezentacje).

Learning outcomes:	K_W08 has detailed and organized knowledge of art and aesthetics in South Asia K_W10 can name and characterize basic cultural phenomena of Souyh Asia K_W18 knows and understands basic analysis and interpretation methods of various products of culture characteristic of chosen theories and schools of research within the scope of culture and religion studies, literary studies, linguistics, philosophy and history K_W19 knows and understands basic analysis and interpretation methods of various products of culture characteristic of local traditions in South Asia K_U08 can analyze most important phenomena/trends in art (painting, sculpture, architecture, other fields) of South Asia K_U10 can indicate most important intellectual problems, dilemmas, aesthetic preferences taking shape inside the culture of South Asia K_U17 can properly function in the linguistic and cultural environment of South Asia K_U21 has a skill in presenting detailed aspects within the scope of cultural issues of South Asia in Polish and in a chosen Indian?South Asian language (Bengali/Hindi/Sanskrit/Tamil), make references to basic theoretical approaches K_K01 understands the need to learn all one's life K_K4 can set appropiiiiiriate goals and ways to achieve them in the context of academic, prfessional and social activity K_K05 has awereness of the cultural distinctness and its religious, philosophical, traditional and historical roots and its significance for understanding modern world K_K08 acts in aid of sharing and promoting cultural and linguostic heritage of South Asia
