ECTS credit allocation (and other scores):	2.00 Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles: the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS; the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h; 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes; weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS; work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:	During the workshop students will analyse the role of art in communication in multi-cultural sphere.
Full description:	With the use of workshop methods students will discuss and analyse different examples of pieces of art and artists' works/activity, which are or can be a medium for communication among the representatives of different cultures or are an attempt to define a complicated and fluid identity.
Bibliography:	Preparing basic references (literature) on the topic will be among the tasks for the students to complete the workshop.
Learning outcomes:	(in Polish) Wiedza: - student ma pogłębioną wiedzę szczegółową, obejmującą wybrane przykłady z teorii, terminologii i literatury z zakresu badań nad sztuką w komunikacji międzykulturowej - student ma rozszerzoną i uporządkowaną wiedzę na temat wybranych aspektów dyskursów dotyczących sztuki w komunikacji międzykulturowej - ma świadomość różnorodności sztuki i jej wpływu na sytuację kulturową i polityczną świata - potrafi wyszukiwać, analizować, oceniać i wykorzystywać informacje z wykorzystaniem różnych źródeł - potrafi zastosować wiedzę z zakresu problemów związanych ze znaczeniem sztuki w komunikacji międzykulturowej w typowych sytuacjach profesjonalnych -potrafi nawiązywać kontakty i współdziałać z przedstawicielami odmiennych kultur -ma świadomość odmienności kulturowej i jej źródeł religijnych i obyczajowych oraz jej znaczenia dla rozumienia współczesnego świata
