The aim of the lecture is: to describe historic tendencies of shaping market economy and democratic institutions in Europe, showing peculiarity of European organizational culture in comparison with other cultural circles, describe position of Poland on the economic and cultural map of Europe and characteristic of globalization and knowledge based economy.

In terms of abilities and skills, student…

(1) Interprets and analyses the causes and the course of the processes and phenomena in economic and politic organisations and the relations between them in the context of spatial development

(1) In an interdisciplinary manner, uses acquired knowledge in the different aspects of the knowledge of organisations to constantly develop their skills
