Brief description

(in Polish) Wykład prezentujący zarys dziejów europejskiej sztuki nowożytnej. Tematyka zajęć koncentruje się na tych obszarach, okresach i tendencjach w sztuce od początków XV wieku, które najbardziej zaważyły na jej rozwoju. Największa uwaga poświęcona jest sztuce włoskiej, z zaakcentowaniem zagadnień przełomowych i mających znaczące konsekwencje dla innych obszarów. Prezentowane są również wybrane zjawiska ze sztuki innych krajów i regionów. Szerzej omawiana jest działalność niektórych artystów. Pominięte są natomiast niektóre zagadnienia, na temat których istnieje współczesna literatura w języku polskim.
