  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;

Short description:

Indication of the nature of work in an urban area. Developing the skills to pass through the selected area combined with the observation of some phenomena-tourist (in groups of max. 4 persons and various forms of travel services), and the execution of their inventory.

Indication of the nature of work in the area of ​​rural and natural protected areas. Training in performing the survey and interview, as well as inventory-tourist services developed in the agriculture area and in the national park.

Full description:

1day - work in Warsaw (tourism in urban areas) - 8 hours.

- Introduction to the field work (room 102)

- The division into groups and assign groups to tutors

- Further five hours in the field (Old City, Warsaw): inventory of services divided into various features of interest.

2 days - working in the agriculture field, partly located in the municipality of Kampinoski National Park (8 hrs.)

- Work in groups (updating content mapping, inventory services in belonging to different groups, design services for the development of tourism and recreation)

- Surveys on the availability of services in the area studies, the perception of the community regarding the development of tourism / environment at the place of residence, preserve agricultural function.

- Interviews with local leaders.

Knowledge:

- Be able to name and describe the basic social and economic phenomenon of tourism, taking place in the city and in the countryside. K_W10

- Is aware of the ethnic and linguistic diversity in a group of tourists visiting Warsaw and its impact on the tourist offer of the town. K_W14.

Skills:

- Is able to apply knowledge of the issues of socio-economic geography in the typical professional situations in the field. K_U09

- Is able to properly situate the various activities in the tourism and recreation in the context of the conditions of the environment and economic development. K_U05

- Has the ability to present specific issues in the field of socio-economic issues in the selected area. K_U21
